About Us...


The Founder
A to Z Animal Management Consulting was founded by Chris Davis. Chris continues to serve as the Director of Animal Management and has a wide range of experience with terrestrial and marine animals in domestic and international aquariums and zoos. He has intricate management experience with designing and implementing highly effective animal management programs and establishing a lasting infrastructure at various institutions. He has gained experience in nearly every area of animal management while working for various animal facilities and companies. Prior to assuming a consulting role, Chris held the position as the Director of Animal Management for Dolphin Quest.

His experiences have equipped him with a wide range of skills that can benefit nearly any facility. These skills include effectively managing multi-cultured staffs, training animals in a variety of different settings including natural lagoons as well as artificial habitats, and he has gained animal training experience in many areas ranging from research and open-ocean training to interaction and show behaviors.

In addition to his work and consulting experience, Chris currently serves as the Co-Chairman of the Animal Training Advisory Committee of the well respected International Marine Animal Trainer Association (IMATA) and has held that position for the past three years.
